Visa information
Participants may need a visa to enter the country of the conference if they are not citizens of that country. Apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate in the region where you live, and apply as early as possible: embassies can take around one month to process a visa application. In some countries a valid tourist visa is enough to attend a conference. For details, contact the embassy in your country.
Invitation letter
- The visa invitation letter is issued after successful registration, on request, and sent to the participant only, by email.
- Your name must be written exactly as it appears in your passport. Any difference between your passport and the invitation letter can delay or prevent your visa.
- The letter is issued only for attending the conference and is not valid for immigration, employment or residence.
- The letter supports a visa application but does not guarantee visa approval.
What Robotics Forum can and cannot do
- Robotics Forum does not contact embassies or consulates on behalf of participants. It may send the registered participant's details in reply to an email from an embassy's official email address.
- Participants are solely responsible for getting their visa and for following all immigration and travel rules.
- Robotics Forum is not responsible for visa refusals, delays or related costs.
- A modified or misused invitation letter becomes invalid and can lead to cancellation of your participation. Legal action may be taken against anyone who falsifies or unlawfully uses the invitation letter.
- No registration fee is refunded after an official conference or visa invitation letter has been issued.
To request the letter, email [email protected] with your paper ID and conference. See the full rules and regulations (section E).
